CAN ANYONE DO COREBLAST?
Yes. Generally anyone can do Core Blast. Men and women, teenagers and seniors alike are enjoying the effective exercise system. If you are recovering from injury or have existing medical concerns, we would advise to get exercise clearance from your doctor.
HOW IS COREBLAST DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TYPES OF RESISTANCE TRAINING?
Core Blast was specifically designed to incorporate the principles of Pilates and functional training. We use suspension ropes, toning balls, resistance bands, and foam rollers to give a full body workout that is safe and fun for group class setting.
HOW IMPORTANT IS CORE STRENGTH?
One emphasis of Core Blast training is improving Core Strength. Core Strength is very important for overall spinal health. By strengthening the abdominals, back, and pelvic floor muscles you have better chances of avoiding low back pain and injuries. You will perform better in other physical activities including sports and even activities of daily life.
IS IT SAFE?
Coreblast was designed with safety in a group setting as the primary concern. It is generally safe for everyone to join. If you have an existing condition or recovering from injury, we would advice you to consult with your medical doctor first before starting any exercise activity.
HOW HARD IS IT?
One unique feature of Coreblast classes is that it can be modified to suit the different exercise levels of every individual. It's safe for beginners and still could be challenging for advance students. The instructors would typically give different options in the class either to make an exercise challenging or modify it to make it easier and safer for beginner students.
HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
A typical session is 60 minutes except for the Foundation classes which are 75 minutes long. The extra time is allotted for beginners to get oriented with the equipment and introduction to movement principles.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME FOR CLASS?
To get visible results 3-5 x a week is recommended. We have 5 different Core Blast workouts to choose from making sure you variety in terms of workout. We also encourage you to try our other programs like Pilates, Yoga, and Cycling to have a well-balanced exercise program.
WHAT CLASS IS BEST FOR BEGINNERS?
Foundation classes are best for beginners. We have allotted 15 minutes before the actual class to orient new students in adjusting the ropes, different basic movements and grips, and the movement principles preparing them for the group class.
WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM COREBLAST CLASSES?
Everybody can benefit from Coreblast classes. We specifically designed the program to improve strength, cardiovascular endurance, balance, and flexibility giving you a well-balanced whole body workout in a single session.
CAN I LOSE WEIGHT DOING COREBLAST?
Definitely you can lose weight with Coreblast training. A typical class involves whole body movements that burn maximum calories in a single session. If you come for at least 3-5 classes a week, you will soon see visible results.
CAN I DO COREBLAST IF I’M PREGNANT OR INJURED?
For safety reasons, we would advise you to join Coreblast group classes after delivery or after full recovery from injury. However, you can talk to any of our qualified instructors for possible private sessions. In a private setting, we will adjust the Core Blast exercise program suited for your condition.
